Please join me for a the Button Bowl Workshop on Sunday 8 February from 10h00-13h00. You will learn how to make an easy bowl with buttons and glue. This is a wonderful exercise for mom’s and daughter as they can work together. Children below the age of 7 must be accommodated by a parent. You could also choose a different shape of bowl like a rectangle but you will need to bring a sample shape along that one could work from. The workshop will take place at my new studio on corner of Bach and Purcell street in Windhoek West.
I will provide all materials except for the buttons as it is easier that you pick the colours that you would want at the shop. For the bowl above you would need roughly 270 buttons….you could make two bowls during the workshop so it would be best to bring double the amount. You can buy buttons at any textile/material shop in Windhoek.
The cost of the workshop is N$250.00 per person (child and adult are the same) and I can accommodate about 12 people in my studio so please book as soon as possible. A deposit of N$100.00 must be made upon booking to confirm your spot and the rest may be paid upon arrival of the workshop.
