Willkommen – schön, dass du da bist.
Ich bin Kirsten Wechslberger – Künstlerin (Bachelor of Arts), ausgebildete Kunsttherapeutin und Projektleiterin im sozialen und kulturellen Bereich.
Seit vielen Jahren arbeite ich an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Bildung und sozialer Praxis:
als Künstlerin, Kunstdozentin und Workshopleiterin in Namibia sowie heute in Deutschland in der Arbeit mit Frauen, Mädchen und TINA* in sozialen Kontexten.
Ich habe mit sehr unterschiedlichen Gruppen gearbeitet – von künstlerischen Settings bis hin zu Menschen in herausfordernden Lebenssituationen. Diese Erfahrungen prägen meine Arbeit bis heute: klar, achtsam und ressourcenorientiert.

Meine Arbeitsweise
Ich verbinde künstlerische Praxis mit kunsttherapeutisch inspirierten Methoden.
Dabei entstehen Räume, in denen Menschen:
- ihre eigenen Ressourcen entdecken
- neue Perspektiven entwickeln
- Selbstwirksamkeit erleben
- Ausdruck für innere Prozesse finden
Mir ist es wichtig, einen diskriminierungssensiblen Raum zu gestalten, der gleichzeitig Freiraum für individuelle Erfahrungen, Ausdruck und Selbstbestimmung bietet.
Meine Arbeit ist partizipativ, strukturiert und gleichzeitig offen für individuelle Wege.

Welcome – I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Kirsten Wechslberger. I am an artist (Bachelor of Arts), trained art therapist, and project lead in the social and cultural sector.
For many years, I have worked at the intersection of art, education, and social practice – as an artist, art educator, and workshop facilitator in Namibia, and now in Germany working with women, girls, and TINA* in social contexts.
I have worked with a wide range of groups – from artistic environments to people in challenging life situations. These experiences continue to shape my work: grounded, attentive, and resource-oriented.
My Approach
I combine artistic practice with art-inspired and art-therapeutic methods.
My work creates spaces where people can:
- discover their own strengths and resources
- develop new perspectives
- experience self-efficacy
- find expression for inner processes
It is important to me to create a discrimination-sensitive space that also offers freedom for individual experience, expression, and self-determination.
My approach is participatory, structured, and at the same time open to individual paths.
